Star Wars since I was a little kid. Experiencing the things I love and have become my hobbies is an amazing feeling. It's like when someone throws on a song that reminds them of something specific in their lives and they get all teary-eyed because it brings up an old memory or feeling they've had before.
That's how I feel when I go to Disney World: nostalgic, happy, and excited all at once!I love taking my kids to Disney. It's such a joyful experience, and it's even more joyful when they're happy.
But I also know how special it is to go to Disney on an adult-only trip and just enjoy the experience for myself. I was thinking about all my favorite memories from Disney as a kid, and how much I looked forward to seeing characters like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Stitch, Ariel, and Goofy.
It feels pretty special getting to meet them in person now that I'm an adult and I think those "adult smiles" might be bigger than the kids' when they've met their favorite characters throughout the years. When you're traveling with kids, it's easy to want to stay in a heavily themed Disney Resort. But as an adult, you can look around at other resorts on property and see what they have to offer.
