Protests and calls for a boycott continue to grow following the revelation that Disney donated to every single sponsor and co-sponsor of Florida’s so-called “Don’t Say Gay” bill, which seeks to curb discussions of LGBTQ topics in schools, and which was recently passed in the House and is expected to pass in the Senate and be signed into law by Gov.

In response, Disney released a statement Thursday making it clear it has no intention of changing its approach.Despite branding itself as caring about inclusion, and its penchant for selling Pride merch every year, the conglomerate apparently can’t get it together enough to not line the pockets of lawmakers intent on making life harder for LGBTQ youth.
