Levi Davis, the first out bisexual rugby player in England, has gone missing in Spain. The 24-year-old winger and reality TV celebrity, who currently runs for the Worthington Raiders after stints with Bath and England, had been staying with Richard Squire, a close friend who lives on the island of Ibiza, when he suddenly announced he was going to meet friends in Spain.
Davis reportedly departed the island on a ferry with only a small backpack and minimal clothing and money. Squire said he last heard from Davis in a video taken outside the Old Irish Pub in Barcelona on October 29.Family and friends expressed concern about Davis’s whereabouts and state of mind recently and pleaded with the public for help in locating the young man.“He announced suddenly that he was going to meet friends in Barcelona,” Squire told The Sun. “But he didn’t say who they were, and we haven’t heard from him since I received a video from the Irish pub on October 29.
There’s been no word from him since and his family and everyone who knows him is getting increasingly worried.” His mother Julie, 51, told The Sun Davis had been “quite down lately” and added, “the manner in which he has disappeared has left us all very worried.”Both his former team and a former rugby player posted messages to social media asking for the public’s help in locating Davis.
Bath Rugby posted a missing person flyer while former player, Tom Varndell, asked for anyone with information on Davis to contact him directly.
