Rustic ambience filled the 5th House private loft in Williamsburg at our quarterly Very Important Queer event. With a beautiful, queer cabaret show, featuring the incredible Justice Roes and Maddie Crump and a full band, this was a night to remember.
From theater classics like “Maybe This Time,” to queer restyling’s of hits like “The Girl is Mine,” this cabaret was full of amazing music, storytelling, and dancing.
The party had the musical stylings of DJ Dali, an open bar, hor d’oeuvres, Mediterranean specialties, and dessert. The open bar included creative cocktails like the EveryQueer Martini (Grey Goose vodka, passionfruit, lime, dash of cinnamon, and sparkling wine), Gertrude’s Stein (Bacardi, Campari, lime, pineapple juice, simple syrup, and cherry), and The Eddie Windsor (Hendrick’s gin, sparkling wine, lemon juice, simple syrup).
The food options included chicken taouk, falfael, grilled vegetable, baba ganoosh, baklava, and more. This was truly a night to celebrate the queer community and dance the night away in a room full of love, excitement, and joy.
