Fans freak out after Connor Franta seemingly confirms Troye Sivan romance
Following years of rumours and detective work from online sleuths, Connor Franta has appeared to confirm that he once dated Troye Sivan.
In a recent interview on the web series Obsessed with Brooke Averick, Franta reflected on his love for Chappell Roan, revealing that he first became acquainted with the singer-songwriter in 2014. “My lore with her is that her first ever YouTube video that she uploaded, I found it on YouTube with my boyfriend at the time,” he said. “We found the song, it had like no plays, but her voice was unbelievable, so we started tweeting about it like, ‘This girl is incredible!’ We were like, ‘She’s the next Adele!'” For those who are unaware of Franta and Sivan’s history, and why fans are taking the aforementioned comments as proof they dated, Sivan shared a link to Roan’s unreleased song ‘Die Young’ in November 2014.
Like Franta, he also hailed her as the next Adele as he wrote on X/Twitter: “LETS BLOW KAYLEIGH UP BC I HAVENT HEARD A VOICE LIKE THIS SINCE ADELE, NO EXAGGERATION”.
