Drag Race España makes history with first Pit Crew member to become a contestant
Megui Yeillow has just made herstory for the Drag Race franchise. On 8 September, the 12 fierce queens vying for the title of Spain’s Next Drag Superstar on the fourth season of Españawas announced.
While all of the contestants were met with praise for their promo looks and meet-the-queens videos, Megui Yeillow made some significant noise online for becoming the first-ever member of the Pit Crew to become a contestant.
Yeillow, 32, memorably appeared as one of the franchise’s scantily-clad muscle hunks for the first three seasons of Drag Race España, as well as the first season of España All Stars.
In her meet-the-queens profile, Yeillow revealed that she comes from Ecija, the “frying pan of Andalusia”. As the “muscular queen of the season”, she said her strengths are “doing bench presses, squats and abdominals”.
