Fans have already lined up their picks for Britney Spears’ upcoming biopic. Back in October 2023, the ‘Gimme More’ singer released her highly anticipated book The Woman in Me.
Described as “a brave and astonishingly moving story about freedom, fame, motherhood, survival, faith, and hope,” the emotional memoir dives into Spears’ public breakdown, her high-profile thirteen-year conservatorship, toxic relationship with NSYNC singer Justin Timberlake, and the double standards of the music industry.
Upon its release, the 275-page tell-all received universal acclaim and sold over one million units in the US in its first week.
Due to the book’s popularity, rumours have circulated that various movie studios and A-list actors were in talks to adapt The Women in Me for the big screen.
