Rupert Everett is officially off the market. In a recent cover story for the Tatler, the My Best Friend’s Wedding star revealed that he and his longtime partner – Brazilian accountant Henrique – tied the knot during a secret ceremony.

According to the news outlet, the joyous event occurred at Camden Town Hall earlier this summer. The two later celebrated their nuptials at Ciao Bella, which was noted as Rupert’s favourite restaurant. “I have always hated weddings, although I do love funerals.

But when you get older… I have seen so many problems that gay couples face, so it’s really more about forward-thinking, as we have been together for a long time now,” he told the news outlet. “And I don’t know how long I’m going to last.

Well, being tall, I’ve never seen a 95-year-old 6ft 5in person. You just never know what’s going to happen.” As Rupert suggested, his opinions on marriage and weddings haven’t always been positive.
