Following Queen Elizabeth II's death in September, Sarah Ferguson and her ex-husband Prince Andrew took in Her Majesty's beloved pet corgis, Sandy and Muick.

Sarah, 62, and Andrew, also 62, live together at Royal Lodge in Windsor along with their five Norfolk terriers, and it seems the pair's two new pets have settled in nicely.

Speaking at the Henley Literary Festival, Fergie shared an update about the two dogs and said it was a "big honour" to have taken the Queen's corgis in, The Telegraph reports.

The mum-of-two added that Sandy and Muick have been "taught well" and speaking about living with seven pets, she said: "They all balance out, the carpet moves as I move but I’ve got used to it now." Queen Elizabeth's love of dogs was well documented and at the start of 2021 she was gifted two new puppies; one dorgi (a corgi and daschaund mix) and one corgi.

Over 160 state bills across the country have been proposed that will directly affect and restrict trans rights, with restrictions extending all the way to the voting booth, the American Civil Liberties Union warns.“People who might be inclined to harass marginalized voters at the polls are more aware of trans people’s existence,” Olivia Hunt, the policy director at the National Center for Transgender Equality, told NBC News. “So I expect that we’re going to hear more stories of trans people being harassed, whether by voters, poll workers, poll monitors or other folks who are present during the election.”The National Conference of State Legislatures says that the majority of states require a voter to show identification for 2022’s election, while eight of them have strict photo ID laws, i.e., only a government issued ID will satisfy.
