Harry Styles is talking about his latest role. The 28-year-old “As It Was” singer-songwriter and Don’t Worry Darling actor opened up about playing the character of Tom, a gay policeman still in the closet, in his new drama My Policeman, which premiered over the weekend at 2022 Toronto International Film Festival.

Slowly throughout the story, I think he’s realizing that it is a little further away than Brighton. I think people live entire lives in very small bubbles like that, and if that’s how you’ve been brought up, and everyone around you and generations before you, your parents, etc.
