Kesha has confirmed the release dates of both her fifth studio album, Gag Order, and its first two singles, Fine Line and Eat the Acid.
The record’s cover art, title and release date were revealed after a 24-hour livestream on Instagram came to an end on 25 April.
Gag Order’s artwork shows the singer with a plastic bag over her head as if she is being choked. Fans believe the album is somewhat inspired by her ongoing legal battle with controversial music producer Dr.
Luke, who Kesha has accused of physical, sexual and emotional abuse – something he has denied. It will be released on 19 May, with its first two singles out on 28 April.
