Rising star Kai Bosch has released his brand new EP, Spider, pulling together recent releases with a new track for fans. The British singer-songwriter continues to make waves with his anthemic brand of indie pop, winning over fans and critics alike with his emotive songwriting.
This new EP features previous singles My Jeans, Moths and Title, while giving fans brand new title track Spider. “Spider is a song for my younger self, falling in and out of love with people and wondering why things weren’t sticking,” Kai explains of the new song. “I have always kept my heart on my sleeve, and I think in the past that has frightened people, but this song I get to come back to as a reminder that I shouldn’t stop loving in fear of rejection.” Speaking further on the themes of his new EP, Kai adds: “While on the surface this is a break-up EP, four vignettes of failed relationships’ past – what the Spider EP really stands for is the relationship I have kept with myself throughout. “It’s an EP of anger, mess, infatuation and escapism – it’s sometimes immature, sometimes profound, but always what I am feeling.” Kai Bosch has a summer of shows ahead of him to support his new music, playing headline gigs, guest sets and festivals across the UK.
It includes his performance on the GAY TIMES Stage at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton on 12 May. Kai Bosch’s new EP is available to stream now on Apple Music and Spotify.
