Because, when I would tell people that – I stopped confessing for obvious reasons – I dreamed about Regis Philbin, they would either say, “Are you in love with him?” Or, look at me oddly like I was smoking dope.And yes, I dreamed once that Regis and I were smoking a doobie on a New York City street.
We have also played tennis, and golf. We were in South Beach partying more than once. He was my boss. I was a co-host on his show.
The dreams have been all too common, just me and Regis, and they remain fresh in my mind. None of the dreams were weird – well, I guess that’s subjective.
