A hotel in North Lanarkshire is set to host two events that will celebrate Pride Month.Members of the LGBTQ+ community of all ages, along with families and friends, will get together at the Alona Hotel in Motherwell for the two ticketed events which take place on the same day.The first is a Pride NL Youth Event, hosted by Wishaw actor and performing arts director Garry King and TikTok star and drag artist Cherry West.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

Again it will also be hosted by Garry King and feature Lanarkshire powerhouse singer Jane Henderson, as well as entertainers including Barry Chisholm, Bonnie Banks, Cherry West and Geezah.Garry King said: “At the youth event we will have games and entertainment and there will be information stalls.“The evening event is a huge party night with full entertainment and it’s for over-18s as the bar will be open.“Both are ‘pay what you can’ but you need to book tickets online.
