Following her historic victory at the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest, Loreen has been confirmed to play Mighty Hoopla. The Swedish icon will make an appearance at the UK’s ultimate pop extravaganza on the Sunday (4 June).
Taking place in Brockwell Park, London, it will mark Loreen’s first festival appearance since her aforementioned win. This year’s Mighty Hoopla will also welcome performances from stars such as Kelly Rowland, Years & Years, Kelis, Natasha Bedingfield, Róisín Murphy, FLO, Confidence Man, Beverley Knight, Jake Shears, Aqua and Sophie Ellis-Bextor.
On 13 May, Loreen conquered Eurovision with her hypnotic pop track Tattoo, becoming the first woman – and second person overall after Ireland’s Johnny Logan – to win the contest twice.
Rightfully so, she has now been dubbed the “Queen of Eurovision”. She memorably triumphed in 2012 with her iconic dance track Euphoria, which received the second-highest number of points ever (at the time) and topped the charts in various European countries.
