Woman with Down's syndrome's pride at setting new celebrity birthdays record

The 27-year-old, from Coventry in the West Midlands, said: ‘I am feeling very proud of myself. ‘I love sharing my joy of birthdays with people, and I have been writing a birthday list and practising a lot.
Everyone knows that practice makes perfect. ‘Achieving a Guinness World Record means I can do anything I set my mind to. ’Heidi’s record was achieved in the intellectual impairment category, under the Guinness World Records’ new initiative to better include people with a disability.
The scheme, run in partnership with the charity Mencap, helps provide reasonable adjustments so disabled people have an opportunity at record attempts.
Heidi is one of several Mencap Myth Busters who are working to challenge misconceptions about those who live with learning disabilities, and campaign for change.
