FX has unveiled the first twisted trailer for the second season of American Horror Stories. The anthology series, which features a different myth slash legend from horror lore each episode, is back with some familiar faces including Cody Fern, Nico Greetham, Max Greenfield, Denis O’Hare and Gabourey Sidibe.

The trailer introduces exciting newcomers such as Dominique Jackson (Pose), Judith Light (Ugly Betty), Alicia Silverstone (Clueless), Bella Thorne (The Babysitter) and Quvenzhané Wallis (Annie). “Since 2011, the creators of the AHS have redefined the horror genre with various installments featuring a creepy asylum, a coven of witches, a traveling freak show, a haunted hotel and the apocalypse itself,” FX said in a statement. “The television series sprouted a legion of dedicated fans who anticipate what terrors the next chapter will hold.” Executive-produced by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, Alexis Martin Woodall, John J.

Gray and Manny Coto, the new season of American Horror Stories premieres 21 July on Hulu. The first season ran for seven episodes and boasted American Horror Story alum Matt Bomer, Dylan McDermott, Billie Lourd, Evan Peters, John Carroll Lynch, Naomi Grossman and Taissa Farmiga, as well as Kevin McHale, Paris Jackson, Ronen Rubinstein, Sierra McCormick, Kaia Gerber and Merrin Dungey.

Although the franchise’s flagship series has been confirmed to return for a season 11, a release date hasn’t been confirmed.
