Actress Chloë Grace Moretz, has publicly identified as a "gay woman" for the first time. While also voicing her support for Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election, the Kick-Ass star has shared her political stance, advocating for women’s rights and LGBTQ+ protections, issues she feels are at risk in the current political climate.
The 27 year old movie star took to Instagram to share an image of a voting sticker marked "I voted early 2024" and detailed why she believes Harris is the best candidate to champion the rights of women and the LGBTQ+ community.
Chloë said, in a passionate update: “I voted early and I voted for Kamala Harris.There is so much on the line this election." The star continued: “I believe the government has no right over my body as a woman, and that the decisions over my body should come ONLY from myself and my doctor.
Kamala Harris will protect that for us.” Chloë continued to open up about her deeply personal connection to the issues at hand, speaking openly about her sexuality, and describing herself as a "gay woman." Chloë shared: "I believe in the need for legal protections that protects the LGBTQ+ community as a gay woman.
