Drag Race UK Vicki Vivacious has opened up about the “serious crash” she endured on Saturday (3 August). On 8 August, the beloved drag performer took to her Instagram story to reveal the news in a statement. “Hello everyone!
Sorry for the radio silence. On Saturday, I was involved in a serious crash, and currently resting at home after short hospitalisation,” she wrote in the expired post. “I can not go into to many details for legal reasons, but I am alive and recovering well.
The biggest thank you to all close friends and family that have taken care of me.” Toward the end of her statement, Vicki thanked the venues she had to cancel for understanding, adding: “If I haven’t contacted you, that means I will be with you as planned.” Vicki first made waves with Drag Race enthusiasts when she strutted into the werkroom for the fifth season of the popular UK spinoff.
During her time on the series, the Cornwall-based queen dazzled with her showstopping runway looks and her performances in most of the maxi-challenges.
