Ferne McCann felt she nearly “lost it all” following her break up with ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins after he was jailed for 20 years for an acid attack.
The 31 year old appeared at The Sun’s International Women’s Day event on Monday where she discussed the details of the trauma left behind from the relationship, urging her to “overcome those barriers”.
Dressed smartly in a grey checked blazer dress paired with black tall boots, Ferne addressed an audience of young women as she spoke about moving on from her ex, who was convicted for throwing acid in a nightclub in East London in 2017.

"I have had to take the light with the shade, and the highs with the lows, in my personal life or in my professional career,” the former TOWIE star, 31, said. "I've been in situations where I thought I'd lost it all - career, everything - through actions I had absolutely nothing to do with. "But I feel that if you've got a vision, and you can work hard, you can overcome those barriers." Ferne discovered that she was pregnant with her first child, daughter Sunday, who she shared with her ex Arthur right before his arrest.
