My Policeman, is here and let’s just say we are ready to be cuffed and arrested, Officer Harry!Amazon dropped two stills from the highly anticipated adaptation featuring Styles, Emma Corrin, and David Dawson earlier this morning, giving fans just the tiniest sliver of something to hold on to while they eagerly await the movie’s fall release. One picture shows Styles and Corrin grinning at one another in a pool, while the other offers a little more of a hint at the tension at the core of the story — all three of the film’s leads stand in an art exhibit, the two men presumably studying a museum piece as Corrin’s character, Marion, seems to suspiciously eye Dawson as he explains the work.

My Policeman is based on a 2012 novel by Bethan Roberts, set in 1950s Brighton. Styles plays Tom Burgess, a closeted policeman who marries a schoolteacher (Corrin) despite finding himself swept up in an affair with museum curator Patrick Hazelwood (Dawson). With Harry’s massive queer fanbase, the excitement for this film has been high.

Rumors have already been swirling for months about how the story between Tom and Patrick will play out on screen, thanks to fans who got in to a special advanced screening back in March.
