Jonathan Bailey completes half-marathon for LGBTQ+ youth charity Just Like Us
Jonathan Bailey is in celebration mode after completing a fundraiser for Just Like Us. On 18 May, the Bridgerton star announced that he was running the 2024 Wizz Air Hackney half-marathon in support of the UK-based LGBTQIA+ youth charity.
Ahead of the marathon, he told his Instagram followers that Just Like Us are “leading the fight to make them feel understood, accepted and celebrated.
A fight we shouldn’t need to have. “But until we win it, and for the sake of my knees, please throw your love their way, donate to them and sponsor me on my gallop!” The following day, Bailey updated his followers after completing the half-marathon. “THANK YOU for your continued knockout donations to @justlikeusuk and to everyone at @hackneymoves for making this a very special day for thousands of people,” he wrote, alongside two post-marathon photos.
Bailey’s comments section were filled with heartwarming responses, including a message from Just Like Us. “Thank you so much, Jonny!
