That's what a LOT of people want. (Image via video still) Lil Nas X has finally dropped his debut album (amazing — it feels like it has been out, considering all the singles!) Montero today, and it's accompanied by the music video for “That's What I Want.” I am not typically enamored of his music, but I love this bop.
In the clip, we get an unapologetically sexual and romantic relationship between two Black gay men, stretched across scenes including a football game, a Brokeback Mountain setting, a homestead and — spectacularly — a wedding at which Nas, in white gown, has no groom and Tammy Faye-style mascara tears.
