Today officially marks the start of Manchester Pride - one of the country's biggest celebrations of the LGBTQ+ community. For those lucky enough to be attending, you'll be pleased to know the Manchester Pride 2024 box office is now officially open and ready for attendees to swap their tickets for a pledge band.
Whether you’re coming for the day or the full weekend, all attendees will need to wear a wristband to gain access - and make the most of - the Gay Village Party, which this year includes the likes of Jessie J, Gok Wan, Keala Settle, OneDa, Rita Ora, Katy B, Jessie J, Loreen and DJ Paulette. Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday day tickets, priced at £41 (plus a £2.50 Community Fund donation) are still available, as are the £49.25 weekend tickets here.
In order to grab your pledge wristband, you’ll need to head to the official box office which is situated at Aytoun Street Car Park, M1 3DG - opposite the Kampus neighbourhood and Manchester Crown Court. The opening times are as follows: You will need to bring with you either your mobile ticket (which can be printed out) or a physical ticket purchased from Gay Village venues in order to exchange it for a pledge band.
