Revellers at Manchester Pride have been informed that the main stage for the Gay Village Party is at capacity with a two hour wait to get in.
The three years of the festival have this year hosted the likes of Rita Ora, Jessie J, and Gok Wan throughout the weekend. Tonight, the Festival Stage will host performances from Chinchilla, Sugababes and Danny Beard.
Over the weekend, there has been large queues to get into the main stage area with attendees reporting that they were refused entry on Friday night to see Jessie J perform on Friday evening. No serious injuries were reported. A spokesperson for Manchester Pride said at the time that their priority was to ‘ensure those in attendance are safe, and police attended to support the event organisers’.
