“Spotify Wrapped called me gay” jokes, it’s time for some real year-end tea.Yesterday, Grindr dropped their annual Unwrapped report, filled with sexy and shocking stats about the 13 million-plus gays who used the app in 2024.Sorry to your top-streamed artists, but we’re more concerned with which countries had the most hung bottoms this year.

In that order.)A post shared by Grindr (@grindr)According to Grindr’s website, the report is based on user surveys and global “anonymous aggregated data,” giving us a decent idea about how gay men across the world are looking for love trying to get their rocks off.Spoiler alert: we’ve been busy!In the past year alone, users sent more than 130 billion chats and 9.5 billion taps and shared over 2 billion photo albums.
That said, not every country was down to “swap pics.” While gays in the U.S., Finland, and Australia were most likely to send nudes, users in South Africa, India, and Italy were the least.Furthermore, this year’s Unwrapped highlighted what types of partners were in high demand.In ranking order, the top-searched profile tags were “hung,” “trans,” “bb,” “dom,” and “feet,” while the most used among users were “discreet,” “bi,” “fwb,” “kissing,” and “oral.”Y’all should be thankful there’s no Grindr wrapped cuz it would call you out for sending the same shirtless selfie from seven years ago 3,452 times in 2024The expansive report also celebrated preferences in both pop culture and the bedroom.
