Neighbours editor revealed that a bedroom scene featuring fan-favourite gay couple Aaron and David was cut short in the UK broadcast.
Over the last years, Australia’s longest-running drama series has boasted several same-sex couples in the past. ‘ However, one of the most popular LGBTQ+ couples to be featured on the beloved show is the relationship between Aaron Brennan and David Tanaka, aka Daaron.
Since 2016, the beloved characters have won over the show’s LGBTQ+ viewers with their heartfelt storylines and queer visibility.
The duo also gained notoriety when they became the first gay couple to get married in the show’s extensive history. In the series’ 20 July episode, David and Aaron were finally featured in bed with each other for the first time.
