Set in the fictional elite boarding school Hillerska, the show revolves around Prince Wilhelm of Sweden (Edvin Ryding) and his blossoming romance with a fellow student, Simon Eriksson (Omar Rudberg).

When he unexpectedly becomes next in line for the throne, he has to make a choice between love and duty. The series also stars Malte Gårdinger as August of Årnäs, Frida Argento as Sara Eriksson and Nikita Uggla as Felice Ehrencrona.
