Noah Schnapp is reflecting on Will's journey. The 17-year-old actor addresses his character's sexuality and season four arc, confirming that it's «100 percent clear» that Will is gay and in love with his best friend, Mike (Finn Wolfhard).«Obviously it was hinted at in season one: It was always kind of there, but you never really knew, is it just him growing up slower than his friends?

Now that he's gotten older, they made it a very real, obvious thing,» the actortells in a new Q&A. «Now it is 100 percent clear that he is gay and he does love Mike.
