Out, Poz Singer Rob Racine Honors His Father and Brothers Through Song

Lost Boy.The song is inspired by his brothers, whom Racine discovered he had at 19 after meeting his father for the first time.

The brothers all shared similar experiences of addiction and homelessness while living in Chicago.“My birth father overdosed a few months before I was born,” Racine said. “He was 24 at the time and after being in a coma for almost a year, he started regaining his motor skills and relearned to speak but never fully recovered his vision or his mind.

He spent the rest of his life living in an assisted nursing home.” Racine said that he harbored anger toward his father for a lot of his life.
