Singer-songwriter Lauv, real name Ari Staprans Leff, seemingly came out as queer on TikTok over the weekend. The singer, best known for hit tracks such as “I Like Me Better,” “Mean It,” and his collaboration with Troye Sivan titled “i’m so tired,” posted a TikTok Saturday night that seemingly revealed his attraction to both women and men.
In the 5-second clip, Lauv can be seen riding in a car listening to music. The onscreen caption reads, “When ur dating a girl but ur also a lil bit into men.” In the video’s caption, he added: “Does it have to be that big of a deal?
I haven’t done much aside from kiss, so tbh don’t wannna jump the gun, but tbh I feel things and I don’t wanna pretend I don’t. :)” Although he did not specifically assign a label to his identity, his fans and followers showed overwhelming support for his revelation. “A straight relationship doesn’t eliminate the fact you’re bi,” commented one individual. “So valid.” “You don’t have to put a label on it or establish what it means right away,” another user wrote. “Live your truth.” The post Lauv Seemingly Comes Out, Telling Fans He’s “A Lil Bit Into Men” appeared first on The Gaily Grind.
