Scream 6 star Jenna Ortega teased that Wednesday season two will feature more horror elements and less romantic storylines. Back in November, fans of the beloved Addams Family character were finally treated to the eight-episode fantasy teen drama.

The show, which is executive produced by Tim Burton, follows Wednesday (Ortega) as she enrols in the mysterious Nevermore Academy – which was once attended by her parents, Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones) and Gomez Addams (Luis Guzmán).

As she tries to navigate her new surroundings, the 16-year-old soon finds herself with psychic abilities and at the centre of a local murder investigation.

Shortly after its release, the series earned praise from both critics and viewers for its angst-filled storylines, and Ortega’s incredible portrayal of the titular character.
