Black Eyed Peas fans who have been hoping that the trio would reunite with Fergie to release new music might be in for a disappointment.
Though not a founding member of the band, Fergie was a part of the group for years before leaving in 2017. More than five years later, several members of the group, including Will.i.am, opened up about why a reunion seemed unlikely. Read more about why Fergie is seemingly done with the Black Eyed Peas for good… “Fergie’s really happy doing what she’s doing and that’s what she chose to do,” Will.i.am recently said, according to ET. “To be an awesome mom, and take care of Axl.” That doesn’t mean that they have any bad blood, though. “So we had an amazing journey and rode with Fergie.

Meanwhile, Taboo made sure to highlight J. Rey Soul, who has been working with the group in recent years describing her as a “little sister.” Fergie made a surprise appearance at an awards show a few months ago.
