Nicola Coughlan dropped her first pop song and was inspired by queer icons and Bravo’s The Real Housewives franchise. The Bridgerton star turned a viral interview she did during the Netflix series’ press tour into a song that will benefit LGBTQ+ organizations.

Titled “Shoes… More Shoes,” Coughlan worked with music producer Ellis Miah to make the track happen. “Like Lennon & McCartney, Dylan and the other great lyricists I too wrote my first song by improvising some voice notes to @ellismiah in the 30 minutes I had before getting ready to go to Mighty Hoopla,” Coughlan wrote in the Instagram caption sharing a snippet of the song. “Thank you to all the Queer Icons and Real Housewives who served as inspiration, I live for you.” RELATED: ‘Bridgerton’ Season 3: Nicola Coughlan “Intimidated At First” Of Filming Steamy Scenes; Luke Newton Likens “Polin” To ‘Friends’ Couple Ross & Rachel Coughlan noted that the song, now streaming on all music platforms, will raise funds for Not a Phase and The Trevor Project.
