A club-goer has criticised GMP officers for their handling of an incident during a night out. Videos of a skirmish near the Gay Village have been sent to the M.E.N that show police officers attempting to detain a man.
In one of the short clips, two officers can be seen to have pinned down a man and are attempting to put him in handcuffs. As the man is being detained, an officer appears to strike the back of his head with their knee.
GMP say they have received no complaints regarding the incident and the M.E.N. understands no investigations are taking place.
