Doctor Who showrunner Russell T Davies has hinted at Yasmin Finney’s future with the beloved series. Back in 2022, BBC announced that the Heartstopper star had joined the long-running series as a new Rose. “This show has a place in so many people’s hearts, so to be seen as a trans actress by the legend himself, Russell [T Davies], has not only made my year, it’s made my life,” she said in a statement following her casting.
