Drag Race: The queens bring haute couture fashion to the runway in episode 5

The queens brought their fashion expertise on the latest episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race season 15. Spoilers ahead For this week’s maxi-challenge, the remaining 13 queens were asked to split into three different fashion houses to “turn home decor into haute couture.”  “Team one will design for the House of Kressley using Carson’s town and country chic furnishings,” Ru explained.  “Team two will design for the House of Matthews, using Ross’ sunny Palm Springs home decor.

Team three will design for the House of Visage using home decor inspired by everyone’s favourite Jersey Girl.”  Ru also reminded the queens that each house must produce unique looks that work together as a cohesive collection.

MTV After being randomly assigned into their groups, the queens gathered up their materials before heading to the workroom to debrief.

While the ladies worked on their haute couture designs, Ru returned to the workroom to get an update from each house. Although each group presented solid ideas, House of Visage struggled to convince Ru of their overall regal theme.  “Ru’s a little hesitant about our concept.
