J.K. Rowling has lashed out at Sky News for failing to make clear that a convicted murderer was a transgender woman. “I’m so sick of this sh**,” Rowling wrote on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, linking to a Sky News post that did not refer to the fact that Scarlet Blake is transgender.I'm so sick of this shit.

This is not a woman. These are #NotOurCrimes https://t.co/ycjWefLCiw “This is not a woman. These are #NotOurCrimes,” Rowling stated.

Sky News has been contacted for comment. The Comcast-owned news outlet’s written story on Blake’s sentencing notes she is transgender, but well down the piece.

Blake was jailed for life on Monday for a murder she carried out after watching Netflix documentary Don’t F*** With Cats: Hunting an Internet Killer, which spotlighted killer Luka Magnotta.
