Elliot Page has admitted he feels “incredibly angry and frightened” by the wave of anti-LGBTQ+ legislation coming into force across the US.The actor appeared on The View on Friday (July 26) to discuss the upcoming final season of Umbrella Academy and his recent memoir Pageboy, during which he was asked about the legislation and his advice for allies of the community.Page admitted that he was “incredibly sad about it and angry and frightened”, specifically following the Republican National Convention, which saw numerous high-profile politicians spreading anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric.“I think of, for example, the trans community, and how the vast majority of people don’t know or think they don’t know a trans person.
