This milestone year will recognize and celebrate the National LGBTQ Task Force’s rich history of driving progress within the LGBTQ+ community, from its early days lobbying the American Psychiatric Association to remove homosexuality as a mental illness and advocating for AIDS funding to longstanding campaigns to Queer the Census, Queer the Vote, work for trans rights, fight for reproductive justice and bring an intersectional approach to the LGBTQ+ movement.
One way we are celebrating and honoring our past is by launching a limited podcast series—Movement Moments: The National LGBTQ Task Force at 50.

This podcast series is a chance for the National LGBTQ Task Force to provide a platform to activists, advocates, and leaders from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and issue spaces to illustrate the National LGBTQ Task Force’s vision to redefine what it means to be an LGBTQ+ organization.
