Fans of Schitt’s Creek (ourselves included) have good reason to rejoice – discussions of a reboot of the beloved sitcom are back on the table.
The hit comedy show following the downwards social mobility of the Rose family, a clan of eccentric characters who wind up in the dustbowl town of Schitt’s Creek, ran from 2015 to 2020 across five seasons.
Throughout its multiple series, the show was celebrated for its joyful and authentic exploration of queer identity – whether it be the nuances of pansexuality, or the logistics of polyamory.
This was in no small part thanks to it being created by and starring acting legend Eugene Levy and his son Dan Levy, the latter of whom is a member of the LGBTQIA+ community.
