LGBT+ acceptance in the workplace has soared this year with eight in 10 Americans relaxed about the sexuality or gender identity of their colleagues.
Meanwhile 59% of Americans said LGBT+ people were important in their lives this year. They ranked comedian Ellen DeGeneres and CNN news anchor Anderson Cooper as the joint most influential LGBT+ people.
