Storm Reid is speaking up over the backlash over the queer relationship between her character Riley and Bella Ramsey‘s Ellie, on HBO’s The Last of Us.

While the series experienced a bout of review bombing over a previous gay relationship on the show, the 19-year-old actress spoke to Entertainment Weekly about her own character’s relationship with Ellie that was the center of this weekend’s episode.
