The Umbrella Academy teases the release date of the fourth and final season
The release window for the highly anticipated return of the fourth and final season of Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy has been announced.
A promotional video, posted to Twitter, has tantalisingly teased the final season with the caption: “On October 1, 1989, our extraordinary super-powered babies were born.
In 2024, they return [umbrella emoji] happy birthday brellies.” The video depicts the cast from the dark fantasy superhero series in front of a “Happy Birthday” backdrop, conducting a variety of different birthday activities – including hitting a pinata.
The Umbrella Academy is based on the Dark Horse Comics created by Gerard Way and illustrated by Gabriel Bá. The smash drama follows a dysfunctional superpowered family who reunite after the mysterious death of their father.
