Now, three years later, they have no plans to depart. Washington’s theater scene has embraced Loewenthal in unanticipated ways, he says.
New in town, during the darker days of COVID, he found work and community quickly and remains busy ever since. Currently, he’s playing Mother’s Younger Brother in Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens Tony Award-winning musical “Ragtime,” his fourth show in three years at Signature Theatre in Arlington.
