Presenting Thursday's instalment (June 30) with co-host Holly Willoughby, Phil, 60, welcomed Gok Wan to the ITV studio as they celebrate 50 years of Pride.The 47-year-old fashion consultant spoke passionately about the subject that's close to his heart and revealed a mutual friend of his and Phil's was recently spat on simply because he's gay.Phil chimed in and referred back to a conversation he had earlier in which he confirmed his friend was fired from his job after he came out as gay."I had a phone call with someone I know and their friend has just decided to come out, later in life, and has been fired," Phil explained.He added: "But it happened openly in an email - 'You can't work for me because you're gay'.""That fully blows my mind," a shocked Gok responded.He added: "This is why, it isn't just a party on Saturday, it's about standing for equality.
