Emma responded to their exit and their seemingly happy-ever-after as an on-again/off-again couple. Emma told Soap Opera Digest of their moment together, “First, she just thinks he’s come to say good-bye.

And she is happy about that. That, to her, is already a plus, though she can’t understand how he figured out where she was leaving from, and how she was leaving.

Everyone has always wanted [a happy ending] for them, and that absolutely fits the bill,” she added. Soap Opera Digest also confirmed that the pair will be returning in the new year for more – so stay tuned!
