As CEO of Barry’s, the hunky Chicago native and Miami resident presides over the hottest brand in fitness. Originally opened as a storefront in West Hollywood, Barry’s was designed to be a tougher workout than the aerobics and sculpting classes that dominated the scene in the late 1990s.
The company’s founder, Barry Jay, modeled the studio as a bootcamp, barking orders to clients as they alternated between high-intensity sprints on the treadmill and strength training on the floor.
