Joe Locke has spilt the tea on his mysterious new character from Disney+’s Agatha All Along. On 19 September, Marvel fans will finally be treated to the first two episodes of the highly anticipated series.
Picking up after the events of 2021’s WandaVision, the show follows the villainous spellcaster Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn) as she “finds herself down and out of power after a suspicious goth Teen helps break her free from a distorted spell.” The synopsis adds: “Her interest is piqued when he begs her to take him on the legendary Witches’ Road, a magical gauntlet of trials that, if survived, rewards a witch with what they’re missing.
Together, Agatha and this mysterious Teen pull together a desperate coven, and set off down, down, down The Road…” Agatha All Along is also set to feature a bevvy of LGBTQIA+ fan favourites, including Locke as the aforementioned “Teen” character.
Over the last year, rumours have swirled that the Heartstopper actor would be playing Billy Kaplan – also known as Wiccan, the son of Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen).
