Pride In Leigh is back for the second time ever this year with lots planned for the Wigan -based town. The Spinners Mill will be hosting a number of events and activities to celebrate the occasion starting off with a viewing of ‘Everybody is talking about Jamie’ in their brand-new Film Factory on August 12.
The evening’s aim is to bring people together to enjoy a Pride themed film and give opportunity for the LGBTQ+ community and our allies to enjoy a film that tells an LGBTQ+ story.
Last year a small committee of people made history by hosting a Pride festival and summer programme. For the first time ever, Leigh has its own LGBTQ+ provision bringing together third sector partners to form a summer programme of events.
